Candle Safety

NEVER LEAVE BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED!

I highly recommend setting an alarm whenever you light a candle to make sure you do not leave it burning unknowingly. It is not safe to burn ANY candle for more than 4 hours.

Candle must create a full melt pool on the first burn (only a tiny rim of wax should remain around container) or the candle will continue to tunnel as you burn it. Only light a candle when you have the time to be present and care for it.

Only place candle on heat safe surface away from any objects that could catch fire. Keep away from pets and children. Always read the warning label on the candle before burning. Do not handle burning or recently extinguished candle as container may be hot!

Candle should be extinguished when there is 1/4" wax left in the bottom. Wait until container is cool enough to handle, dump excess wax in trash, and clean with paper towel. Spray with a small amount of rubbing alcohol and wipe again to remove excess wax, or wash with mild dish detergent and water.

Votives
Remove label before burning.
Votives need to be burnt for 2-3 hours on first burn to create a full melt pool. Do not burn for more than 3 hours at a time or votive container can get too hot.
Keep herbs away from wick or they can effect the burn.
Votives can burn up to 15 hours total if burnt in a votive glass. If you choose to burn the votive free standing, please place on a heat safe dish. It will melt much more quickly outside of a votive glass.

Containers
Container candles need to be burnt for 3-4 hours on first burn to create a full melt pool. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time or container can get too hot.
Keep herbs away from wick or they can effect the burn.
